Al-Shami accuses JMP of raising separation in south governorates

SANA'A, Sep. 01 (Saba)- Head of the Media Circle in the General
People Congress Party Tarq al-Shami has accused opposition Joint
Meeting Parties of raising separation in some eastern and southern
governorates, 26sep.net reported on Sunday.He said that the
extremist speech of the JMP are behind crimes of violence, riots
and terrorism, pointing out to the negative impacts of riots on the
economy of the nation.

In a press conference held on Sunday, al-Shami said that the JMP
bloc rejected a suggestion of forming the Supreme Commission for
Elections and Referendum from judges.Regarding the amendments on the
election law, al-Shami made it clear that the dialogue over these
amendments lasted for two and two months, but the JMP delayed to
carry out its promises.

Then, the parliament acted its constitutional role by rejecting the
amendments and agreeing on the previous law, he said.He added that
the members of Islamic brothers are in prisons in most of the
countries, but in Yemen they practice their political activities
freely.

Al-Shami confirmed concern of the GPC to hold the
parliamentary elections on time.
