Two militants killed in Chechnya
MOSCOW, April 22 (Itar-Tass) -- Law enforcers traced a group of up to
six militants in Chechnya and killed two of them in a chase on Thursday.
Spokesman of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) Nikolai
Sintsov said the armed group was detected close to Serzhen-Yurt settlement
in Shali district of Chechnya.
"During the chase to detain them a shootout took place. According to
preliminary information, two militants were killed and others are being
searched for," he said adding the killed are being identified
six militants in Chechnya and killed two of them in a chase on Thursday.
