MONGOLIAN DAY AND "HORSE BOY" MOVIE IN UN


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of Mongolia's joining the UN, a “Horse boy” documentary was snown in the USA April 18. It was also dedicated to the international autism day.
The action, organized by Permanent Representative of Mongolia to UN, has gathered delegations of UN resident representatives, UN staffers, NGOs, and of research and survey organizations who study autism.
Rubert Isakson has said that his documentary shows how his son was treated for autism in Mongolia and how positive results were gained. Returning home, he had created a foundation to help people with autism-striken children, he said.
The gathered have underlined an importance of marking the international autism day and noted connections between the events in movie with Mongolia's custom, nature, weather and traditions.
This measure is to important Mongolia's advertising for UNDP, increase understanding on Mongolia for foreigners.
