The Premier has said he is glad that Mrs. Albright is visiting Mongolia for the second time. Mongolia is grateful to the U.S government, including the NID, for giving it the biggest support in forming political parties and in developing the democracy, he said.
Mentioning that Mongolia has made the political reform combining it with an economic change, he has noted Mongolia has been focusing on providing every citizen with equal rights. "One of the guidelines of our governmental policy is to abolish corruption and bureaucracy. Mongolia is going to chair the Community of Democracies from July of this year. We were glad to learn that the CD was established at Your initiative, Mrs. Albright," the Premier has stressed.
In response, Mrs. Albright has thanked the Premier and said Mongolia may serve as an example in developing the democracy and establishing the coalition government. She has appreciated the peacekeeping operations of Mongolia in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Despite arguments over the criteria of the democracy, many countries have no doubt that Mongolia has set an example of boosting the democracy, she went on. As an institution, the democracy is the ongoing process, even in USA with its 200-year history it still develops, she added.
