Shamlan affirms importance coordination to protect fisheries wealth

SANA'A, Aug. 31 (Saba)- Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed
Shamlan affirmed on Sunday importance of the coordination between
the ministry and the Fisheries Cooperative Union to protect the
fisheries wealth from randam fishing and improve live conditions of
the fishermen.

In a meeting brought together members of the executive
office of the union, Shamlan called for gathering efforts of
fisheries associations to organize unloading centers of fish.

He also
urged the associations to send reports to the offices of the
ministry over their activities to know real quantity of fish
production and exporting. The meeting also discussed issues
associated with the activities of the union.AH
