US Embassy denies supporting Iraq to mediate in Bahrain
Baghdad (NINA) – The United States Embassy in Baghdad denied supporting Iraq to play a mediation role in Bahrain.
In a statement to the press on Monday, Apr. 18, Spokesman for the Embassy, David Ranz, said that some media outlets carried out a wrong piece of news quoting the Embassy Spokesman on whether the United States supports Iraq in playing a mediation role in Bahrain.
He added that the United States has no stance over Iraq carrying out mediation in Bahrain.
