Saad calls for activating the parliament’s monitoring role
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from Fadhila Party, Suzan Al Saad, called for activating the monitoring role of the parliament, Saad stated to NINA Monday.
“It is very necessary to activate the Legislative and Executive committees’ work which can be done by legislating a law that supports them in following up and study all documents and statements of the ministries and companies,” she added.
Al Saad continued “it is the two committees’ right to get acquainted with any document no matter how confidential it was so that they can estimate the ministries’ and companies’ performance, eventually, put proper solutions for problems in Iraq.”
She concluded saying “the people’s will is going to change the circumstances because it imposes itself strongly on the government’s and parliament’s performances.”
