ABOUT ROUND TABLE MEETING OF MONGOLIAN-AUSTRIAN BUSINESSMEN
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A round table meeting between the Mongolian and Austrian businessmen ran April 15 in Vienna, Austria.
Co-organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Austria and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (ACC), the meeting themed "Mongolia is treasure house" has been opened by Dr. Richard Schenz, a Vice President of the ACC. He has underlined that a size of the Mongolia-Austria trade turnover has not reached a satisfactory level, and expressed a hope that it will dramatically go up thanks to positive trends of Mongolia's economics.
One of the participants J.Enkhsaikhan, the Ambassador to Austria has spoken about a dynamic start of the mining production in Mongolia with statistical figures, underlining the mining sphere has been attracting foreign enterprisers. He has mentioned about an opportunity for foreigners to make investments to Mongolia's agriculture, light industry and tourism.
Head of the Foreign Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of Mongolia (FIFTA) B.Ganzorig has delivered a report themed “Economic situation of Mongolia and opportunity and condition of making investments”. Other reports with themes “Present situation of the food, agriculture and light industrial sectors of Mongolia, their perspectives” and “Tourism sector in Mongolia” have been given by L.Bayartugla, an expert from Mongolia's Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, and by Ts.Khashbat, a representative of Mongolia's National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) to Austria.
A financial expert from the ACC Kolle has highlighted an increase in the economic capability of Mongolia.
By the way, representatives of the ACC will pay a visit to Mongolia July 2-6 in order to study certain spheres of our economics. They have been urging the Austrian enterprisers to join them.
