B.SER-OD COMPETES IN LONDON MARATHON
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An international master of sports B.Ser-Od took 9th place in this year's race of the London Marathon, one of the top five marathons in the world, April 17.
Some 35 thousand runners have competed breaking thus record in number of participants. The Mongolian has covered a distance of 42 km within two hours, 11 min and 35 seconds. A winner of the marathon Emmanuel Mutai of Kenya finished the distance within two hours, four minutes and 40 seconds.
Thanks to becoming one of the top 10 runners in the London Marathon, B.Ser-Od has been qualified to take part in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
By the way, the London Marathon's medalists are all from Kenya.
