Ukraine needs new gas talks with Russia.

KIEV (Itar-Tass) - Ukraine needs new talks on gas supplies
with Russia, the speaker of the Ukrainian parliament Vladimir Litvin
believes.
"We need new talks with Russia, seek more arguments to solve the
problem of the Russian gas purchase price," he told reporters during his
working trip to the Zhitomir Region on Sunday.
Litvin said that new gas talks are needed, because the violations in
the signing of the gas agreements in 2009 are obvious. "If the government
really did not take a decision to conclude these agreements, but only
personal decisions were taken, this is a major violation and we should
deal with it," he noted.
"The violations were obvious. But I as well as most Ukrainian citizens
are concerned not only over the way the agreements were signed, but over
the gas price, which is unacceptable for us. The prices on energy carriers
for Ukraine are a vital problem, and the law enforcement agencies should
investigate all other related issues," he underlined
