Fireman injured in firefighting efforts at Moscow regional market

MOSCOW (Itar-Tass) - A fireman was injured in the
firefighting efforts at the Vladimirsky Trakt building material
marketplace in the Moscow regional town of Reutovo, a source in the Moscow
regional law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
"A fireman was injured in the firefighting efforts. The doctors
believe that his life is out of danger," the source said.
The main EMERCOM department in the Moscow region reported earlier that
the fire was put down and no people killed or injured in the fire were
reported. The damages are being investigated.
The marketplace is situated at the zero kilometer of the Moscow ring
road near the Entuziastov Highway.
"The firemen are removing the collapsed marketplace and are pouring
the water on it," the source said. The investigation into the fire case is
underway.
The fire broke out at a marketplace on the Entuziastov Highway on
Sunday evening. At first the fire spread on a hangar with paint and
varnish products and then spread on a neighboring hangar immediately. All
people were evacuated from the marketplace. "One hangar burnt down to
ashes, the second one was destroyed by three fourths in the flames," the
source said.
