JICA vice president starts Yemen visit

SANA'A, Aug 31 (Saba) - Vice president of the Japan International
Cooperation Agency (JICA) Kenzo Oshima started on Friday a visit to
Yemen aimed at taking part in a consulting meeting between Yemen
and the JICA.

The meeting is to start next Saturday in Sana'a.

Oshima said the meeting will be dedicated to discussing issues of
mutual concern between Yemen and Japan as well as Yemeni projects
that would need support from the JICA in areas such as health,
education and training Yemeni officials.

Oshima said this comes in the interest of the two countries to
activate agreements signed by them previously.
