Iranian military official warns against eruption of new war

Tehran, Aug 30, SPA -- Assistant chief of staff of the Iranian
armed forces for cultural and information affairs Brigadier Masaud
Jaza'eri has warned against any attack on Iran and said that will
pave the way for a new world war.

In a press statement published today, Jaza'eri said the world is
coming nearer to a new war due to the American and Zionist
covetousness. He noted that this covetousness was revealed in Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan and Caucasus.

The Iranian official urged all concerned authorities to work for
enhancing the pillars of the global peace and stability. Any war will destroy everything, he said.

Pointing out to the countries which talk proudly about democracy, he
said the world will witness soon great developments as regards change
of visions and trends.
