SPORT - 100 Spartak supporters detained at Europa League match

MOSCOW, April 15 (Itar-Tass) -- A hundred supporters of Spartak Moscow
football club were detained late on Thursday at the second-leg Europa
League quarterfinal against Porto which the hosts lost again with a
crushing 2-5 defeat. Spartak lost the first-leg game 1:5.
Police said all detained Spartak supporters were either drunk or used
flares during the game.
"There were no major breaches of order at the stadium," police said.
There were estimated 16 thousand supporters at the stadium and
practically no Porto supporters as the outcome was clear following the
defeat in Portugal.
Over 3,100 police, including 400 riot OMON policemen, ensured law and
order at the stadium.
