Pakistani president urges Turkish businesspeople to invest in his country

ANKARA (A.A) - 14.04.2011 - Pakistani president has called Turkish businesspeople to explore ways to boost economic ties and make investments in his country.
"We are open to all proposals. Come and discuss them with us. That way, we can make the next century the Century of Asia," Asif Ali Zardari told a Turkey-Pakistan Business Forum meeting in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
Zardari said Turkish contractors could engage in the construction of highways in Pakistan, adding that the government offered operation rights of the highways for a period of 99 years plus share from the revenue.
Zardari also said Pakistan offered great potentials for hydropower, calling Turkish businesspeople "to construct dams all over the country."
