Former baathist in Karbala arrested
Karbala (NINA) – Provincial Council of Karbala announced that a leader of Baath Party in the province was arrested, Chairman of Karbala PC told NINA correspondent.
“Karbala police received Sheikh Abdul Latif Al Darmi, a senior leader in the former Baath Party, who was arrested in Baghdad, Zayouna District, on Wednesday, April 13,” Hameed Al Musawi said.
Musawi added “Darmi was carrying a forged passport, when he was arrested. Many wanted baathists’ names were sent to the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior to arrest them and hand them over to Karbala.”
