Oil, gas service, engineering to be discussed at Tyumen forum Wed

TYUMEN, April 13 (Itar-Tass) - The 2nd international forum on the
theme of "Oil and Gas Service. Western Siberia" begins at the Tyumen
technological cluster here on Wednesday.
More than 200 participants from Russia, other CIS and Pacific Rim
countries are to discuss the peculiarities of State support for the oil
and gas service and engineering, the financing of the sector in the light
of shortage of credit lending resources.
Those presenet are to devote special attention to the state of and
tendencies in the development of the market of oil-service sector,
specifically, "the export potential of Russian oil and gas engineering and
service, and prospects for international cooperation as a form of
overcoming economic difficulties," a forum directorate staff member
pointed out.
The two-day forum has been organized under the auspices of the energy
policy and energy efficiency committee of the Russian Union of
Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and theTyumen associaion of oil and gas
service companies.
