KRG seeks achieving self-reliance concerning oil production
Sulaymaniya (NINA) –The Kurdistani Regional Government seeks achieving the self-reliance to be in no need of the foreign oil productions.
The Head of the Importers and the exporters Union in KR, Mustafa Abdul Rahman, stated to NINA “The Union instructed all its members to establish firms for the oil products as well as oil refineries and not to depend of the foreign oil products,” assuring that “Importing these products from Iran and turkey negatively affected the economic situation in KR.”
“We have to depend on and to upgrade the oil local production,” he concluded.
