Da Nang donates houses to poor
Da Nang (VNA) - Da Nang 's Association for Sponsoring Disadvantaged Women and Children has handed over 39 houses to poor and disadvantage women in Hoa Minh Commune.
The beneficiaries - under a city programme to donate houses to 126
underprivileged women - will only have to pay a monthly maintenance fee of
50,000-100,000 VND. However, they do not have the right to sell the houses.
The scheme is open only to poor single mothers living in rented
accommodation in Da Nang .
The programme, which has a budget of nearly 10 billion VND (600,000 USD), is
