Chief investigator says Minsk metro bomb explosion terrorist act

MINSK, April 12 (Itar-Tass) - Office of the Prosecutor General of
Belarus has officially qualified the powerful explosion that occurred at a
downtown station of the Minsk metro Monday night as a terrorist act.
"At 17:54 April 11, a terrorist act was carried out at the
Oktyabrskaya Station of Minsk metro," said Deputy Prosecutor General
Andrei Shved who leads the investigation team.
He also said that the various departments engaged in the investigative
actions have formed a unified investigation pool and a criminal case over
the fact of the explosion has been instituted.
