Falluji calls on parliament, government to demand compensations from US
Baghdad (NINA) – Independent politician, Hussein Al Falluji, called on the government and parliament to demand compensations from the US and its allies on 2003 for the humanitarian and infrastructure losses.
In a statement to NINA, Falluji said “Maliki’s first government hold responsibility for not demanding Iraqis’ right by signing the security agreement with the US, despite all the laws that guarantee to Iraqis the demand of compensations for Iraq, as a state, and for Iraqis.”
He added “the former government and parliament did not include a paragraph in the agreement to guarantee the demand of compensations, a matter that wasted the chance for the minimum compensations from the US and its allies.”
