Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ According to the report of Ministry of Health, 15,826 mothers delivered 15,881 children (live births) in the first quarter of 2011, showing a decrease by 997 or 5.9 per cent, and 994 or 5.9 per cent respectively, compared to the same period of previous year.
In the first quarter of this year, at national level infant mortality decreased by 98 or 25.6 per cent to 285, child mortality aged 1-5 decreased by 40 or 39.6 per cent to 61.
