Doha, April 11 (QNA) - The Ministry of Interior (MoI) is showcasing a number of jobs including a new post for prospective Qatari candidates at the Qatar Career Fair 2011, the ministry said.
The MoI pavilion received a good response from citizens at the Fair, which opened at the Doha Exhibitions Centre Sunday, under the theme 'Together To Achieve Excellence'.
MoI Assistant Director of Human Resources and Pavilion Supervisor Captain Mohammed Hamad Al Gayathin said, "Among the many job opportunities at the MoI advertised at the Fair is the newly created position of Operations Room Assistant (Sign Language). The employee will receive complaints and reports on different types of accidents round the clock through sign language by the way of visual communication and will translate it and transfer all the details to the Command and Control Section."
The MoI pavilion is displaying many positions which are part of its ongoing development process. The MoI is keen to qualify its cadres practically and theoretically. To this end, the MoI will provide specialised courses to boost employees' capacity and will send them abroad at its expense to acquire further training.
The head of Security Media Section at the Public Relations Department of the Ministry First Lieutenant Mubarak Salem Al Buainain said the MoI pavilion provides all information through posters, brochures, manual and electronic application forms for prospective candidates.

Job aspirants can enter their details in the computers available at the pavilion equipped with employment application program which classifies the applicants as per their educational qualification. The details are later uploaded to the main employment applications program of the HRD.
