PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION LEAVES FOR PANAMA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A parliamentary delegation headed by the Speaker D.Demberel left Monday for the Republic of Panama in order to take part in the 124th Assembly of the Inter parliamentary Union (IPU) to be held April 13-20 in Panama city.
The Mongolia's parliamentary delegation has comprised G.Batkhuu, a Vice Speaker and deputy leader of the Mongolia's Parliamentary Group; Ch.Saikhanbileg MP, a leader of the Democratic Party's faction at the State Great Khural; and Ts.Tsengel MP. Moreover, the secretary-general of the parliamentary office Ts.Sharavdorj will participate in a meeting of the Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (ASGP).
In frames of the assembly that will run under a theme "Responsibility of parliament: For ensuring confidence of people", the participants will organize a discussion regarding a present situation of the world's politics and socio-economics. In addition to it, reports will be delivered with themes "Preventing possible riots during elections and creating a legal environment for ensuring a peaceful process of transition of governments" and "The role of parliaments in ensuring sustainable development through the management of natural resources, agricultural production and demographic change".
