D.ZAGDSUREN BECOMES PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA'S WEIGHTLIFTING FEDERATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The president of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MonNOC) D.Zagdsuren has been elected as the president of the Mongolian Weightlifting Federation (MWF) in accordance with a decision of the MWF's regular meeting. D.Zagdsuren has been replaced by head of the Citizens' Representative Khural of Ulaanbaatar T.Bilegt who chaired the federation from 2008. Apart of the president, B.Gansukh has been re-elected as the MWF's secretary-general.
Chairing the MonNOC D.Zagdsuren is a medical for sports and has a title of State Honored Worker of Medical Science, and a doctor degree on medical sciences of sports. He is also laureate of the Orders of Merit both of the Olympic Council of Asia and the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC).
Mr. Zagdsuren has put forward purposes to bring sports of weightlifting, archery and taekwondo into world standards in Mongolia making these sports the highly developed sports for Mongolia. Related research works have been conducted by him as well. He also has chaired the Mongolia's Association of Sports Hospital and the Mongolian National Paralympic Committee.
