Moscow several plants to have new managers - Sobyanin

MOSCOW, April 10 (Itar-Tass) -- Moscow's several plants have a change
of top managers, caused by dishonest and ineffective work of former
directors, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said.
"The biggest problems are not in private companies, but in the
companies, owned by the city, take for example ZIL," he said. The plant's
overdue wages made 200 million roubles, while the director's salary was
250 million, and it may have been enough to compensate the debt, he added.
Now, "he is discharged, and a new management starts working there," he
said. The plant got an additional loan to pay out overdue wages.
The situation at the Tushino Machinery Works is "very similar."
"These enterprises accumulated losses and were busy with money
laundering," Sobyanin said. "We need to clear the situation with them."
