Skolkovo to design small quantum watch, optimise communication
MOSCOW, April 10 (Itar-Tass) -- Small quantum watches, portable
complexes for tele-medicine and new highly effective methods of
optimisation communication channels in public access to the Internet will
be designed in the Skolkovo innovation centre. The companies, authors of
the ideas, have become new participants in the Russian innovation centre,
a source in Skolkovo said.
The technology of small quantum watches, which provides higher
stability with less energy consumption, will be useful in wireless and
satellite communications, high-speed networks, navigation, etc.
Most modern products of the same class are much bigger, they use over
ten watts and cost over two thousand dollars.
Another project is portable complexes for tele-medicine and media
communications.
"These complexes improve security and effectiveness of rescue works in
difficult to access places, for example they may spot hidden objects and
sources of danger," the press service said.
The Evanti Company will work on optimised use of communication
channels in public access to the Internet.
"New algorithms will form new soft and hardware for operators of
wireless networks, so that the channels' utilisation ratio reaches 95
percent."
