About thousand rally participants gather by RF embassy in Warsaw

WARSAW, April 10 (Itar-Tass) -- A rally is organised by the building
of Russia's embassy in Warsaw on Saturday by The Gazeta Polska.
"Most scary truth about Smolensk and Katyn may reconcile us. Lies -
never," is a most peaceful banner. The participants shout anti-Russian and
anti-governmental slogans. Among the flags above the crowd, there are
flags of Poland, the UK and Georgia.
Several dozens police guard the embassy.
In November of past year, Russia's State Duma recognised the Katyn
tragedy as "crime of the Stalin regime." "The materials published and
which had been kept for many years in secret archives, not only reveal the
scale of that scary tragedy, but also prove that the Katyn crime was made
at Stalin and other Soviet leaders' direct order," deputies said.
The Investigation Committee of Russia (ICR) and the Chief Military
Prosecutor's Office of Poland continue to investigate the case on the
crash of the Polish Tu-154M plane, which was making a special
international flight with passengers on board from Warsaw to the
Smolensk-Severny airport, ICR spokesman Vladimir Markin reported on Friday.
The International Aviation Committee made public on January 12 a final
report of international experts on the investigation into the
circumstances of the crash of the Polish presidential plane. According to
their conclusions, the plane crashed as a result of the actions of the
crew, who decided to land, yielding to psychological pressure, in
conditions of bad weather.
ICR is fulfilling eight requests of the Polish authorities on legal
assistance. In response to the requests, Russian officials forwarded to
Warsaw some 40 volumes with copies of the materials dealing with the
investigation into the air crash.
