First Lady of Azerbaijan meets senior representatives of foreign countries and international organizations attending World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, TREND-April,8-UNESCO and ISESCO Good-Will Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, who is attending the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, in Baku at Gulustan Palace on April 8.
Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her pleasure with the next meeting with the ISESCO Director General in Baku, and thanked him for his participation at the Forum.
Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri said interesting ideas were sounded and important dialogue was conducted at the Forum held at a high-level in Baku. He stressed the importance of intercultural dialogue.
Mehriban Aliyeva also met with the Honorary Speaker of the Senate of the Kingdom of Belgium Anne-Marie Lizin.
First Lady of Azerbaijan expressed her pleasure with the meeting with Honorary Speaker of Senate of Belgium in Baku.
Thanking for the invitation, Lizin expressed her confidence in the further development of cooperation between the two countries' parliaments. The sides discussed issues of mutual interest.
In addition, Mehriban Aliyeva met at the Gulustan Palace with the vice-chairperson of the Russian Federation Council, Svetlana Orlova, who is on visit to Baku.
Mehriban Aliyeva expressed gratitude to Orlova for taking part at the Forum.
Svetlana Orlova thanked the First Lady for invitation, appraised organization of the Forum and shared her impressions about Baku. She stressed necessity of addressing gender problems worldwide.
