Society of Technical Analysis formed
Karachi, April 08, 2011 (PPI): Owing to importance of technical analysis in stock market trading, a group of technical analysts have formed Society of Technical Analysts (STA) and elected its governing body.
The body was elected in the opening ceremony of the STA held in a local hotel in Karachi where its members announced the cabinet.
The office bearers are: Ovais Ahsan, President, Faran Rizvi, General Secretary, Adnan Muzamil Khan, Vice President, Khalil Usmani, Treasurer, Faheem Raza, Joint Secretary and Jawad Hussain, Executive Member.
Talking on the occasion, Ovais Ahsan, President STA, said that technical Analysis is the basic need of every person trading in the stock exchange. He said that the STA will help raise the level of awareness among the stock market participants about theory and practice of technical analysis.
STA is in process to get registered with the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) and after its affiliation the society will launch technical analysis courses in collaboration with the IFTA.
