Saudi Ambassador hands over assistance to Mexico

Mexico City, August 29, SPA--Saudi Ambassador to Mexico Munir Ibrahim
Punjabi handed over here on Thursday agricultural machinery and
equipment purchased from the assistance, worth U.S 2 million,
directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz Al Saud to alleviate the effects of the catastrophe of
floods that swept Mexican Tabasco State.

In a speech during the hand-over ceremony, the Saudi Ambassador said
that the King's directives came in line with the firm principles of
the foreign policy of the Kingdom of humanity accustomed to lend a
helping hand to brotherly and friendly countries, wishing that the
Saudi aid achieves the noble objectives in assistance for the
reconstruction of the state.

On his part, the Governor of the State Eng. Andreas Granir Mello
expressed his deep thanks to the Kingdom's humanitarian initiative
which represents the most sincere solidarity with the people of
Tabasco.
