Zardari to pay a 4 day official visit to Turkey
Islamabad, April 07, 2011 (PPI): President Asif Ali Zardari will pay a four day official visit to Turkey from Monday and will discuss number of issues including bilateral relations with the leadership of Turkey.
Besides bilateral relations, recent developments in the middle east, North Africa and the Gulf are expected to figure in consultations between the leadership of the two countries.
Pakistan enjoys special relations with Turkey which are deeply rooted in the ethos of the people of the two countries.
President Asif Ali Zardari’s forthcoming visit will give a new momentum to bilateral relations especially in the fields of economy and trade as well as enhancing connectivity.
Pakistan and Turkey have always consulted closely and supported efforts for durable stability and development in the region. Both are also actively supporting regional processes such as those of the ECO and the OIC.
