Russian, Belgian companies sign six cooperation deals

ST. PETERSBURG (Itar-Tass) - Russian and Belgian companies
signed six cooperation agreements on Thursday on the sidelines of the
visit of Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium to the second biggest Russian
city.
Dermo Expert Group, a leading Belgian producer of curative cosmetics,
agreed with Russia's Confidense LLC to promote its products in Russia.
The Belgian company hopes to double sales in the country.
E-Xstream Engineering signed a strategic partnership agreement with
Russia's CompMechLab of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University to promote
software in Russia and exchange designs in information technologies.
Ion Beam Applications and the Federal Center for radiation medicine
development agreed to cooperate in joint research and diagnostic and
treatment of various forms of cancer.
Open Engineering, a subsidiary of SAMTECH Group and a leading European
software designer agreed with St. Petersburg State University of
Information Technologies to set up a joint center to model physical
processes.
The biggest Belgian engineering and architectural VK Group dealing
with the construction of medical facilities agreed with AM 0.618
architectural workshop to create a joint venture to promote access to the
Russian market.
Another agreement was signed by Belgian, Estonian, and Finnish
companies to develop social business and non-profit partnership also on the Russian territory.
