AZERI FM SPEAKS TO CHIEF OF ROMANIAN FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SERVICE
Baku, 28 AUGUST,(AzerTAj) - Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with head of Romania`s Foreign Intelligence Service Mihai Razvan Ungureanu in Baku on Thursday.
During the conversation, they stressed the two countries share common views on a
large number of issues, including regional and international ones.
Mammadyarov called Romania Azerbaijan`s strategic partner, and noted the importance
of enhancing cooperation in the Black sea region.
The Azeri FM said the fact there are unresolved conflicts in the region has a
negative impact on the regional security, in particular that in the energy corridor.
Mihai Razvan Ungureanu said Azerbaijan is a strategically and economically important
country to Europe.
