CABINET CHANGES PETROL EXCISE TAX
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet decided Wednesday at its meeting to decrease excise tax on ton of petrol imported through Altanbulag, Zamyn-Uud, Sukhbaatar and Ereentsav border checkpoints.
A price of A-80 petrol will go down from 160 thousand togrog to 140 thousand, of ÀÈ-92 petrol--from 250 thousand togrog to 230 thousand. A price of ton diesel, in contrary, has gone up from 130 thous. togrog to 210 thousand.
These changes will come to force April 8. Prices of the petrol imported through other border check points have remained unchanged.
The main reason caused this action is that the Russian “Rosneft” company increased this month its prices on imported to us A80 by 56 US dollars, A92 by 61, but decreased diesel price by 35 dollars.
