Maliki, Biden review the region's developments
Baghdad (NINA) – Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki received on Wednesday evening, Apr. 6, a phone call for US Vice President Joe Biden.
A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Bureau said, "Maliki and Biden exchanged points of view over the on going developments in the region and issues of common interests, as well as, horizons of cooperation between both countries in all fields."
It added, "The also discussed expanding future cooperation between Iraq and the United States after the withdrawal of American forces by the end of this year according to the agreement signed between both countries."
