THREE-SIDED MEMORANDUN SIGNED ON COOPERATION AGAINST DESERTIFICATION
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of environment and tourism, the “Green Asia” nongovernance organization of Republic of Korea, and administration of Suwon city have signed three-sided cooperation memorandum.
The document has been aimed at combating desertification and dust storms. Present at the ceremony were state secretary of the Ministry of environment and tourism, N.Batsuuri, his advisor, Ts.Damdin, and head of the foreign cooperation office, D.Batbold.
Many works are expected within the memorandum such as supporting Mongolia's efforts to combat desertification and dust storms, providing a stable development through afforestation, creating a “Suwon citizens grove” in desertification-striken zone, widening international collaboration.
