Obama will leave office in a more disgraceful way than Bush: Ahmadinejad
TEHRAN, April 5 (MNA) - U.S. President Barack Obama will leave office in a more humiliating way than his predecessor George W. Bush did, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday.
Although their slogans were different, they pursued similar policies, Ahmadinejad told reporters at a press conference in Tehran.
Obama came to power with the slogan of change, but it became clear that by ‘change’ the Washington officials meant to turn everything into their own benefits.
However, the double standard approaches adopted by U.S. officials have unmasked them, the president remarked.
President Ahmadinejad also said that the United States is seeking to “hijack” revolutions in the Middle East and North Africa.
“Everyone must remain vigilant because they (the U.S.) are seeking to hijack popular uprisings with the aim of serving the interests of the capitalists,” Ahmadinejad stated.
