No concern about nuclear disaster in Iran: Ahmadinejad
TEHRAN, April 5 (MNA) - There is no concern about nuclear disaster in Iran, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told reporters at a press conference in Tehran on Monday.
Asked if Japan’s nuclear disaster has made Iran to revise its decision to build more nuclear power plants, Ahmadinejad said the Bushehr nuclear plant meets the highest safety standards and there is no concern in this regard.
Moreover, Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant ran into problem due to tsunami and there is no record of tsunami in the history of the Persian Gulf, he said.
