Britain, Pakistan sign agreement on enhanced strategic dialogue

Islamabad, April 04, 2011 (PPI): British Prime Minister David Cameron who arrives Tuesday on day-long visit will sign agreement on enhanced strategic dialogue with Pakistan and talks with Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari on ways to enhance interaction at political level, strengthen trade, investment, cooperation in education and health.

Cameron is visiting on invitation of Prime Minister Raza Gilani. “Pakistan attaches considerable importance to British Prime Minister’s visit and have close cooperative relationship with United Kingdom,” a Foreign Office statement said Monday.

Following a formal welcome ceremony, Cameron will meet parliamentary leaders, federal ministers at reception in PM House. Later two Premiers will have talks and sign agreement on enhanced strategic dialogue.
