Pakistan will accept peoples' mandate in next generation, Pakistani President Zardari
Naudero, April 04, 2011 (PPI): President of Pakistan and Co-Chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari has said the next general elections will be held in free, fair and transparent manner and his party will accept the peoples’ mandate.
“We believe in democracy and are trying our best to strengthen democratic system in the country,” he said while addressing a huge gathering of party workers and followers of Bhutto martyrs on the occasion of 32nd anniversary of martyrdom of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the founder of PPP and first elected Prime Minister of Pakistan at Garhi Khuda Bux in the wee hours of Monday.
“Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto served the downtrodden people of the country without any discrimination. That’s why even after 32 years, Shaheed Bhutto is alive in the hearts of the masses,” President Zardari said,
