President Zardari launches Benazir Zarai Card
Naudero, April 04, 2011 (PPI): President Asif Ali Zardari Monday launched Benazir Zarai Card (agri card) scheme introduced by Sindh Bank.
He distributed 10 cards among growers and directed Bank’s management that on pattern of such card, it should introduce Benazir Students Card to help youngsters acquire education to meet fee expenses and purchase books.
CEO Sindh Bank Bilal Shaikh said Benazir Zarai Card will help growers acquire seeds, fertilizer to enhance agriculture produce. Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Information Minister, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Provincial Ministers were also present.
