Thailand’s Royal Aid reaches southern flood victims

KRABI, April 4 (TNA) - Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand have contributed their financial support to flood victims in the country’s southern region, including those in Krabi Province.

Krabi Governor Prasit Osathanond, presided over a ceremony at the provincial hall Monday morning--at which 24,000 bottles of clean water were presented by a royal aide on behalf of Their Majesties the King and Queen.

The revered Thai King and Queen have donated 100,000 baht from a royal account for the purchase of the 24,000 bottles of clean water for flood victims in Krabi, one of the hardest flood-hit provinces in the Thai South currently, to boost their morale and spirit. (TNA)
