TEHRAN, Apr. 4 (MNA) -- Carlos Queiroz arrived in Tehran in early Monday to finalize a deal with the Iranian football officials.
Former Portugal coach will sign a three-year contract with Iran, according to the football officials. Queiroz will meet Ali Saeidlu, Iran's Physical Education Organization President, today.
“I am happy to be here and want to help Iran to advance to the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil,” the 57-year coach said.
Queiroz, who had already come to Tehran in February, turned down to become coach of Iran football team.
