Iranian movie “Nader and Simin” to open Korean film festival
TEHRAN, April 4 (MNA) -- The acclaimed Iranian drama “Nader and Simin: A Separation” will open the 12th Jeonju International Film Festival which will be held from April 28 to May 6 in South Korea.
A portrayal of the break-up of a marriage, “Nader and Simin: A Separation” won a Golden Bear for the best film at the Berlin film festival and its cast ensemble received best actor and actress Silver Bears at the event.
Launched in 2000, JIFF is now being recognized as one of the most important film festivals in Asia and a window for independent and experimental films from around the world.
