Iran to dispatch its third aid cargo to Japan
TEHRAN, April 4 (MNA) -- An Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) official has announced that Iran will dispatch its third consignment of relief aid to Japan on Wednesday.
The consignment including 50,000 iodine tablets will be sent to Japan that is struggling with the aftermath of last month’s earthquake and tsunami, Hossein Derakhshan told IRNA on Sunday.
The request was officially made by Japan’s Red Cross Society, Derakhshan added.
