Bodies of 2 terrorists who stormed Salah al-Deen provincial council identified

Baghdad (NINA) – High level security source said that the identity of two of those who stormed the building of Salah al-Deen Provincial Council are been identified.

The source, who refused to be identified for security reasons, told NINA on Sunday, Apr. 3, "Samples of the attackers' bodies sent to American forces' labs, DNA test resulted in identifying them."

He pointed out that the attackers who have been identified are residents of Salah al-Deen province, refusing to give more details.

On Tuesday, Mar. 29, an armed group stormed the building of Salah al-Deen Provincial Council in Tikrit, 170 km north of Baghdad, killing 65 persons, including 3 Council members, and wounding 97 others.

It is noteworthy that the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq' claimed responsibility for the assault saying that five of its members carried out the attack called (Tikrit Assault).
