Kirkuk (NINA) – An improvised explosive device emplaced on the road between Haweeja and Riyadh, southwest Kirkuk, went off against an American patrol.
Police source told NINA, "An improvised explosive device went off against an American convoy on the road connecting Haweeja and Riyadh, southwest Kirkuk."
It added that American force surrounded the place without knowing the size of losses suffered.
