About 83 percent of Kazakh people vote in Baku's constituency

Roughly 83 percent of 200 citizens of this country, temporarily staying on the territory of Azerbaijan voted on the day of the presidential elections in Kazakhstan, the first secretary of the Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan Yerlan Abishev told Trend.
He said earlier that the voters are active and the atmosphere of the voting is calm. Kazakh citizens, living or staying on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic, may use their right to vote at the polling station No 140 at the Kazakh embassy in Azerbaijan.

Besides the incumbent president, Communist Zhambyl Ahmetbekov, leader of the Patriots Party, Senator Gani Kasimov and Tabiyat Ecological Union leader Mels Eleusizov participate in the snap presidential elections.According to experts, the acting head of state will easily win the election.
70-year-old Nazarbayev has been in power for over 20 years, and according to opinion polls, is supported by about 90 percent of the population.
The CEC will announce the preliminary results of the elections in the first half of April 4.
