MONGOLIA-LITHUANIA CONSULTATIVE MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Lithuania held Thursday their regular consultative meeting in Vilnius city. The meeting has been attended by delegations of the countries D.Tsogtbaatar, the state secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia and Asta Skaisgiryte-Liauskiene, the deputy foreign minister of Lithuania.
The sides have concluded a present situation of the relations and cooperation, discussed matters on high level visits and other measures for forwarding the further collaboration. They have shared views on cooperating within the European Union (EU), intensifying the collaboration in the trade and economic sectors for widening the ties, organizing business forums, activating the cooperation in the educational sphere, and on opportunity to train Mongolian students in Lithuanian universities.
In addition to it, the countries have exchanges views on developing cooperation in other spheres in conjunction with a leadership of Lithuania in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) from 2011, and on matters on regional and international spheres.
In a scope of the meeting, D.Tsogtbaatar has met with a special ambassador in charge of the Lithuanian chairmanship of the Community of Democracies.
